Sunday Morning Cozy

After a hard rain yesterday, today in Arizona is a cozy, cool day. I love the desert after the rain. The scent of Greasewood bush blooms in the air... it's quite lovely. Greasewood has a very pungent scent and is a very characteristic fragrance of the desert in Arizona.

To go along with the coziness of the lovely Sunday, I'm going to make a brunch for my family.... maybe something with blueberries

I really enjoy painting furniture.  I painted our Dining Room Hutch recently.

Antique Cabinet

I bought this cute little cabinet at an Antique Store. It had been sitting outside for what appeared to be a very long time and was in pretty bad shape w/mold and spider webs.  This is the before:

I cleaned it up and painted it and added new hardware:
